## Gaps

- The UK House Price Index leaves out the Isles of Scilly because it has very few sales each month: 1 (Isles of Scilly)

## Caveats

- This compares the average price with the same month a year earlier, as published (the Annual_Change column).
- Council figures are 3-month moving averages, so a sharp move shows up over several months.
- Small councils with few sales, such as the City of London, Orkney, Shetland and Na h-Eileanan Siar, move around a lot from month to month.
