# Working from home: highest and lowest councils in North East (2021)

North Tyneside had the highest share of workers working mainly from home of North East’s 12 councils in 2021, at 31.6%.

Middlesbrough had the lowest, at 16.8%. The middle council, County Durham, had 23.9%.
