# Most and fewest people in radon Affected Areas: places in Scotland (2022)

Orkney Islands was the most people in radon Affected Areas of Scotland’s 32 councils in 2022 (people in radon Affected Area squares 98%).

Na h-Eileanan Siar and North Lanarkshire were the joint fewest people in radon Affected Areas (2%). The middle council, Renfrewshire, had 24%.
