# Most expensive and cheapest places in South East to rent a two-bedroom home (September 2026)

Oxford was the most expensive of South East’s 64 councils in September 2026 (two-bedroom private rent £1,662).

Isle of Wight was the cheapest (£874). The middle council, Vale of White Horse, had £1,245.
