# Black ethnic group share: highest and lowest councils in East Midlands (2021)

Nottingham had the highest share of residents in the Black, Black British, Black Welsh, Caribbean or African ethnic group of East Midlands’s 35 councils in 2021, at 10.0%.

Derbyshire Dales, East Lindsey and High Peak had the joint lowest, at 0.2%. The middle council, South Derbyshire, had 0.8%.
