# Asian ethnic group share: highest and lowest councils in Wales (2021)

Cardiff had the highest share of residents in the Asian, Asian British or Asian Welsh ethnic group of Wales’s 22 councils in 2021, at 9.7%.

Isle of Anglesey had the lowest, at 0.6%. The middle council, Merthyr Tydfil, had 1.5%.
