# Share born outside the UK: highest and lowest councils in Northern Ireland (2021)

Belfast had the highest share of residents born outside the UK of Northern Ireland’s 11 councils in 2021, at 11.7%.

Causeway Coast and Glens had the lowest, at 4.8%. The middle council, Lisburn and Castlereagh, had 7.5%.
