# Share born outside the UK: highest and lowest councils in East Midlands (2021)

Leicester had the highest share of residents born outside the UK of East Midlands’s 35 councils in 2021, at 41.1%.

North East Derbyshire had the lowest, at 3.1%. The middle council, Newark and Sherwood, had 7.3%.
