# Share aged under 15: highest and lowest councils in East Midlands (2021)

Leicester had the highest share of residents aged under 15 of East Midlands’s 35 councils in 2021, at 19.7%.

Derbyshire Dales had the lowest, at 13.6%. The middle council, Bolsover, had 16.3%.
